Since September 2024, the Future Forest Innovation Hub is part of the Digital Hub Initiative of Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.
The new Digital Hub Life Science & Bioeconomy with locations in Halle (Saale) and Blankenburg (Harz) combines the strengths of research, development, start-up funding, business and financing into an integrated transformation system along the industrial value chains on a shared platform. In line with the mission statement ‘Healthy ecosystems and healthy people for a future-proof and sustainable economy’, the hub accelerates digital solutions for complex systems and combines the infrastructure of the metropolitan region with the potential of rural areas.
